Meet the Animals

Our animal crew is why Ecofauna exists. They are our purpose, family and the stars of our shows. Their job is to educate people about their wild cousins in an effort to promote conservation. The first step in wanting to help conserve wild animals is to learn about them and everyone knows that hands on learning is the best! Check out some of the animals that could come to your event below.

Zorro

Species: Moluccan Cockatoo

Zorro is one of our rehomed parrots that was given up because of his naturally loud vocalizations. He was hatched in 1998 and is the oldest animal ambassador we have. Zorro is full of energy and loves to be the centre of attention.

Bowser

Species: Argentine Black & White Tegu

Bowser came to us when his previous owner could no longer care for him. Bowser loves back scratches, bananas, and bugs.

Buffy

Species: Buff Wing Macaw

Buffy came from a loving home but circumstances made it so her former family could no longer keep her. She was a tough nut to crack, but she has really come into her own since being with us. Buffy loves to go out on the road and meet new people as her confidence continues to grow.

Meow Meow

Species: Bengal - A Wildcat Hybrid

Meow Meow is a house cat with attitude. He was an owner surrender as he did not do well in his previous home. He has since began to thrive with us, and he loves attention.

Franklyn

Species: Red Footed Tortoise

Franklyn came to us from a local Turtle and Tortoise rescue. He was found wandering downtown Toronto, with a belly full of rocks as he ate out of hunger. He is much healthier and happier now, and enjoys meeting kids at all the shows.

We have so many more animal ambassadors who love coming out to meet new people. Help support them by booking a show today
